Dr. Ioannis Liakas is an award-winning medical doctor, educator, and aesthetic medicine specialist with more than 20–25 years of clinical experience in general medicine, gerontology, and non-surgical aesthetic care. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary Medical School, and a Member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine. Before focusing on aesthetic and wellness medicine, he spent over two decades in the NHS as a Consultant Physician and gerontology expert. Today, as Medical Director and lead practitioner at Vie Aesthetics, Dr. Liakas is recognised for advancing patient safety, natural-looking treatments, and educating both patients and practitioners on modern medical and cosmetic approaches, and his expertise has been sought by major UK outlets on topics ranging from safe cosmetic procedures to aesthetic innovations.
