Examples of publications where we secure coverage for clients:
Led by former journalists and experienced PR professionals, we turn expertise, thought leadership, founder stories, real-life stories, products, services and business news into angles journalists can actually use.
Our PR Plan gives growing brands a commercially sensible PR option under £1,000/month, with journalist-led strategy, tailored angle development, content creation, media pitching, account-managed support and clear reporting without traditional agency retainers.
Structured, not generic. Low-commitment, not low-strategy.
If you can relate, you’ve come to the right place!
You have expertise, a founder story, a product, a service, a real-life story or a business worth talking about, but you need the right media angle.
You want to be seen as credible, trusted and relevant, not just visible for the sake of it.
You want consistent media momentum, clear reporting and honest advice, not vague PR activity with little to show for it.
That’s exactly why we built our PR plan differently.
Before outreach begins, we shape clear campaign direction around your brand, goals, positioning and strongest media opportunities. This gives you a tailored PR proposal, not a generic template, so you can understand the recommended strategy, potential angles, target media thinking and how PR could support credibility, authority, visibility and trust from the start.
No fluff. No vague activity reports. No PR for the sake of PR. Just clear strategy, consistent pitching and media momentum that builds over time.
PR With A Purpose, Not PR For The Sake Of It
Every campaign includes journalist-led strategic thinking, tailored angle development and media positioning, so we can understand what makes you credible, what you should be known for and what journalists are most likely to care about.
Where it will strengthen the campaign, this may also include a senior Founder & Authority Positioning Session designed to clarify what you should be known for, where your authority is strongest, which thought leadership themes you can credibly own and which media angles are most likely to build long-term credibility.
For real-life, founder or customer stories, we can also provide senior journalist-led story support where there is genuine media potential. This means a senior current or former journalist can oversee the story development, interview the client or story subject, identify the strongest human-interest or media angle and help prepare the story in a press-ready format before outreach begins.
The goal is simple: we shape the authority, then earn the media visibility to validate it.
Is This The Right PR Plan For You?
This plan is a good fit if:
you want ongoing visibility, not one-off press hits
you understand that PR usually builds momentum over months 3–6
you’re happy to start with the initial 3-month term and review progress from there
you have credible expertise, a founder story, product, service, real-life story or announcement we can shape for the media
you value credibility, authority and consistency
you can respond promptly when we need input, approvals or extra detail
you want PR that supports trust, visibility and commercial opportunity over time
you want a low-commitment PR Plan that still includes strategy, content creation, pitching, account management and regular communication
you want a tailored campaign direction before outreach begins, rather than generic press release distribution
This plan is not a good fit if:
you expect guaranteed coverage in specific publications
you’re looking for instant results
you want completely hands-off PR with zero involvement
you’re only focused on SEO links rather than credibility, visibility and earned media value
you want PR activity without honest feedback on what is likely to work
you want cheap PR, mass press release distribution or generic outreach rather than a properly shaped PR campaign
you are looking for a fully bespoke senior communications consultancy at traditional agency retainer level
“The real deal — they do exactly what they say they’ll do.”

A Fairer PR Model
Typical PR agency
-
Many traditional PR agencies ask clients to commit to longer contracts before there is much clarity on how the campaign will perform. That can make PR feel risky for growing brands that want momentum, but also need flexibility.
-
Traditional agency retainers are often built around larger teams, higher overheads and broader service structures. For founders, experts, consultants, coaches and growing brands, that level of spend does not always make commercial sense.
-
Many agencies do not publish pricing, which can make it difficult to understand whether PR is realistic before booking a call. We believe clear pricing helps clients make better decisions from the start.
-
Traditional agencies often involve multiple layers of account management, strategy and delivery. That can work well for large organisations, but smaller brands may end up paying for structure they do not really need.
-
At lower retainer levels, some agencies focus more on delivery than strategic thinking. We believe commercially sensible PR should still include clear positioning, strong angles and honest guidance before outreach begins.
Us
-
We don’t believe in tying our clients down for 6+ months. PR should be flexible and so after an initial 3-month commitment to get you going - then 1 billing cycle’s notice.
-
Commercially sensible PR without traditional agency retainers.
-
A fair starting point that gives us time to build foundations, test angles and start creating media momentum.
-
You can see what we’re working on, where momentum is building and what has been secured.
-
Our team understands what journalists need and shapes your expertise, stories and updates into usable media angles.
-
Every campaign includes journalist-led angle development, media positioning and honest advice on what is likely to work.
-
Senior PR strategy support helps clarify authority angles, founder story, commentary opportunities and media-ready messaging before outreach begins.
-
Where a real-life, founder or customer story has genuine press potential, a senior current or former journalist can help shape the angle, interview the story subject and prepare it for the media.

What We Do
The strategy may combine expert commentary, thought leadership PR, founder visibility, product PR, service-led PR, story-led outreach and business news depending on your goals and what journalists are most likely to respond to.
Sharing Expertise, Thought Leadership & Founder Visibility
Turn knowledge, experience and leadership into media authority
We position founders, spokespeople and subject-matter experts as credible voices journalists can quote, interview and feature, turning their expertise, insight and thought leadership into media-friendly opportunities.
This includes expert commentary, founder insight, thought leadership themes, leadership and workplace media, industry opinion, practical advice and commentary linked to your area of expertise.
Every campaign includes journalist-led angle development, so your expertise and thought leadership are shaped around what journalists, audiences and the market are most likely to care about. Where it will strengthen the campaign, this may also be supported by a senior Founder & Authority Positioning Session, helping clarify what you should be known for, which authority angles are strongest, which thought leadership themes you can credibly own and how your expertise can become more media-ready before outreach begins.
What this does for your business:
Repeated expert, founder-led and thought-leadership coverage helps you become more recognisable, trusted and credible. It supports sales conversations, builds authority and creates a stronger media footprint around you and your brand.
Promoting Consumer Products and Services
Get distinctive products, services and experiences in front of relevant audiences
This is about getting your product, service or experience featured where relevant audiences are already looking for ideas, recommendations and trusted guidance.
We secure practical, product and service-led coverage such as:
Product roundups and buying guides
Reviews and hands-on features, where suitable
Seasonal and trend-led line-ups
Service recommendations and expert call-outs
“Best of” lists and comparison pieces
What this does for your business:
It puts your product or service in trusted editorial environments, supports conversion, and gives prospects a credible reason to choose you.
Telling Stories and Announcing News
Build emotional connection and credibility through stories people remember
Some coverage goes beyond products and expertise.
Real experiences, customer stories, founder journeys, launches, milestones, partnerships, awards, expansions and business announcements can all create media opportunities when there is a genuine reason for the press to care.
We shape and pitch these stories so they feel relevant, authentic and newsworthy.
Where a real-life, founder or customer story has genuine press potential, it can be overseen by a senior current or former journalist. This may include identifying the strongest journalist-friendly angle, interviewing the client or story subject, shaping the emotional and factual detail, preparing a media-ready press release and pitching it to relevant media contacts.
What this does for your business:
Story-led and news-led coverage builds emotional buy-in, reinforces trust and supports long-term brand value, especially when combined with expert commentary and product or service PR.
Find the Right PR Angle for Your Brand
Not every brand earns media coverage in the same way.
Some campaigns are built around expert commentary, thought leadership and founder visibility. Others work through professional insight, service-led stories, real-life stories, product features, business news or lifestyle media opportunities.

What We Need From You
To deliver PR at this level and price, we need buy-in too.
After a decade in PR and thousands of media wins, we know what it takes to get results. Our secret? Being upfront from the start about what we need from you to make it happen—and what we can realistically deliver.
We’re proud to offer commercially sensible, journalist-led PR without traditional agency retainers. But to do that well, we need collaboration too. If your brand’s not the right fit, we’ll be honest—and even point you in a better direction if we can.
To get the most from us, you’ll need to:
-
Good PR needs proper buy-in. The best results usually come when clients treat PR as a long-term credibility and visibility investment, not a quick one-off task.
-
PR moves quickly. We may need comments approved, details checked, assets sent over or extra information to help us respond to media opportunities while they are still live.
-
We use simple online systems to keep your campaign organised, visible and easy to track.
-
Journalists, editors and readers may look you up. A clear website, active profiles and consistent messaging can all help support the credibility of your campaign.
-
Strong images, headshots, product photos, logos and background information make it easier for journalists to use your story, product or expert commentary.
-
The strongest media angle is not always the one you first expect. We’ll guide you towards the stories, commentary and opportunities journalists are most likely to respond to.
-
The strongest PR often comes from clear viewpoints, useful insight and ideas you can credibly own, not just basic facts about your business.

Meet the Team Behind Your PR
Hi, I’m Riley, Co-Founder of No Strings Public Relations.
For nearly a decade, I’ve worked across the UK and US helping founders, experts and brands earn real media coverage — not for vanity headlines, but for credibility, visibility and long-term authority.
Our team is made up of experienced PR professionals, writers and former journalists who understand how newsrooms work, what editors actually want and how to turn expertise into coverage journalists can use.
We also believe strong PR starts before the first pitch is sent. That is why every campaign includes journalist-led strategic thinking, angle development and media positioning. Where it will strengthen the campaign, our senior Founder & Authority Positioning Session can help clarify what they should be known for, which thought leadership themes they can credibly own and how their expertise can become more media-ready before outreach begins.
We do not simply chase coverage. We help clients understand what makes them credible, what journalists are likely to care about, which thought leadership themes support their authority and how earned media can build trusted influence over time.
We don’t believe in fluff or overpromising. If something won’t land, we’ll tell you. If there’s a stronger angle, we’ll steer you towards it. The goal is consistent media momentum, not one-off hits that go nowhere.
If you want PR that’s transparent, strategic, and built to support real business growth, you’re in the right place.

No.
No reputable PR agency can guarantee editorial coverage in specific publications because journalists ultimately decide what they publish.
What we can guarantee is consistent pitching, strong story angles, clear communication and experienced PR professionals who understand how newsrooms work.
Our model is built around long-term value, not locking clients into expensive retainers regardless of outcomes. If PR is working commercially, clients stay. If it isn’t, they don’t.
That keeps us focused on building real momentum, not vague “PR activity”.
If you prefer guaranteed delivery, our PR Media Mentions service may be a better fit.
-
Some campaigns secure early coverage within the first few weeks, but PR is not instant advertising. Many suitable campaigns deliver around 2–4 pieces of coverage per month once momentum has started to build, but this is not guaranteed and varies by brand, angle, sector, media fit, journalist interest and responsiveness. For many brands, PR becomes more consistent and valuable over months 3–6.
-
Traditional PR agencies often charge £3,000–£10,000+ per month because they are usually built around large account teams, high overheads and long-term retainers.
Our model is different.
We focus on the parts of PR that actually create momentum: shaping strong angles, writing compelling pitches, building useful media materials, responding quickly to journalist opportunities and securing earned editorial coverage.
We are also highly organised. Our systems help us manage admin, tracking, reporting and communication efficiently, so our team can spend more time on the work that matters: thinking, writing, pitching, following up and building journalist relationships.
Because we work with a wide range of brands across multiple regions, we also benefit from experience, shared media insight and economies of scale that many traditional agencies do not have.
That allows us to keep pricing fair while still delivering thoughtful, journalist-led PR.
Our goal is simple: to make credible, commercially useful PR accessible to growing brands, not just companies with large agency budgets.
-
No.
Many pieces of coverage include backlinks, but journalists and publications decide whether to include a link.
The PR Plan is designed to build wider credibility, visibility and media momentum, with SEO value as an important benefit.
-
Yes. Strong PR starts with clear positioning.
Every campaign includes journalist-led strategic thinking, angle development and media positioning. We look at what makes your brand, founder, expert or story credible, what journalists are most likely to care about and how PR can support your wider visibility, trust and authority.
For selected clients, this may also include a Founder & Authority Positioning Session before outreach begins.
-
The Founder & Authority Positioning Session is a strategic PR session for selected clients, designed to clarify what they should be known for, where their authority is strongest and which media angles are most likely to build long-term credibility.
It may cover your founder or expert story, media positioning, authority angles, expert commentary opportunities, thought leadership themes, credibility signals and media-ready messaging.
The goal is to give the campaign a stronger foundation before journalist-led outreach begins.
-
Yes, where there is genuine media potential.
If a founder, customer or real-life story could work for the press, we can help identify the strongest journalist-friendly angle, interview the client or story subject, prepare a media-ready press release and pitch it to relevant journalists.
We do not just send out a few notes and hope for the best. We shape the story so it feels clear, authentic and useful to the media.
-
Yes. Our PR Plan is £697 / US$937 per month and is designed for brands that want journalist-led PR without moving into traditional agency retainer territory. It works best when the campaign is focused around strong angles, useful expertise, credible stories, products, services or announcements that journalists are likely to care about.
At this level, PR needs to be commercially sensible and realistic. It is not about trying to replicate a large corporate agency model for less money. It is about using focused strategy, content creation, pitching and media judgement to build credibility, visibility and momentum over time.
-
Yes. The PR Plan starts with a 3-month initial term, followed by one full billing-cycle notice. That gives the campaign enough time to build properly, while avoiding the long retainers often associated with traditional PR agencies.
PR usually becomes more consistent and valuable over months 3–6, so the model is designed to give campaigns a fair chance to build momentum without locking clients into a long agency contract from the start.
-
No. The process is structured, but the campaign is not generic. Clear systems help us keep PR organised, consistent and commercially sensible, but the positioning, angles, content and outreach are shaped around each client’s brand, goals, story, expertise and media potential.
That means two clients may be on the same PR Plan, but the strategy can look very different. One campaign may focus on expert commentary and thought leadership, while another may focus on product features, service-led angles, real-life stories or business news.
-
A freelance PR consultant can be a good option if you want one person, a very light scope, or highly specific support in one niche. Some freelancers are excellent, especially when the brief is narrow and the client already has strong positioning.
No Strings is designed for clients who want a more structured, account-managed PR Plan with journalist-led angle development, content creation, pitching, monitoring, reporting and regular communication. It sits between DIY/freelance PR and a traditional agency retainer: more support and structure than doing it alone, without the cost or commitment of a larger agency model.
-
Yes, where there is clear expertise, a credible point of view and a willingness to contribute insight. Consultants and coaches are often well suited to PR because journalists regularly need expert commentary, practical advice, thought leadership and professional perspectives.
The strongest campaigns usually have a clear niche. A broad consultant or coach can be harder to pitch, but someone with a defined audience, area of expertise or strong viewpoint is much easier to shape into media-friendly opportunities.
Is No Strings suitable for executive coaches, life coaches or business coaches?
Yes, as long as the positioning is clear and the coach has useful insight to share. Executive coaches, life coaches and business coaches can all be suitable for PR when there are strong angles around leadership, confidence, careers, burnout, workplace culture, mindset, growth, decision-making or other topics the media regularly covers.
The key is making the expertise specific. “Life coach” or “business coach” on its own can be too broad, but a clear angle or audience gives journalists a stronger reason to quote, interview or feature the expert.
-
Yes, in many cases. Doctors, clinicians and medical experts can be strong PR candidates because the media often needs credible voices to explain health, wellness, lifestyle, medical and patient-facing topics.
The right approach depends on the specialist area, the audience and the level of regulation or sensitivity involved. We are careful with medical PR and only pursue angles that can be handled responsibly, accurately and in a way that supports trust rather than hype.
-
Cheap PR often means mass press release distribution, generic outreach, vague promises or coverage that does not really support the business. That is not what we are trying to do.
Our model is commercially sensible rather than cheap. We keep the structure focused and efficient, but the campaign still includes media judgement, angle development, content creation, pitching, reporting and honest guidance on what is likely to work. The aim is credibility-building PR, not activity for activity’s sake.
-
Traditional PR retainers often involve longer contracts, higher monthly fees and larger agency structures. That can be right for bigger brands, complex corporate communications or major launch campaigns, but it is not always the right fit for founders, experts and growing businesses.
The PR Plan is designed to be more focused. It gives clients access to journalist-led PR, strategy, content creation, pitching and account-managed support without the same level of cost, commitment or agency layers.
-
Your campaign is supported by a dedicated account manager as your main point of contact, alongside our wider team of PR professionals, writers and former journalists.
The team helps shape angles, prepare media materials, pitch journalists, respond to suitable opportunities, monitor coverage and keep you updated. Where it strengthens the campaign, senior support may also be brought in for authority positioning or story development.
